Deciding to get married abroad has the double effect of being one of the best decisions of your life, but also a sure way to guarantee that you’ll be having a lot of hard work ahead of you and a stressful time. There’s an obvious difference between getting married in your hometown and taking a plane for a foreign country. If preparation needs to be perfect for an ordinary wedding, when it comes to a marriage abroad everything needs to be flawless. After all, it’s not like you’ll know exactly where to go to buy another bottle of wine in the last minute or know someone who can fix your wedding garters if something goes wrong on short notice.
Out of all the places that people usually pick to have their weddings, our personal favorite would have to be Rome. Surely it’s not the cheapest place to have a wedding, although flying into Rome is now relatively cheap, but it’s probably the prettiest. This is especially true if you are planning to have your ceremony in a church, as Rome has some of the most beautiful places of worship in the world. You’re sure to be wedded surrounded by years of history and beautiful art, and that is simply amazing.
