When you are planning your vacation on a luxury cruise, it is important to pack properly to keep your vacation relaxing and free of stress.
Try to pack articles of clothing that are versatile. For instance, a long skirt can be paired with a blazer for a formal lunch or a sequined tank for a night on the dance floor.
There are nights that are referred to as formal on most luxury cruises. However, these are not completely formal. Bring clothes that you would be comfortable wearing to a wedding and you should be fine. If you so choose, it is possible to avoid formal wear the entire length of your trip. Take a nap at dinnertime and enjoy the midnight buffet or have room service on formal night.
Most cruises offer some form of laundry service to its passengers. You may be better off to pack less clothes and plan to do a wash during your vacation to avoid taking too many clothes. If you bring fewer clothes with you, you will have more room for souvenir hats, gifts and t-shirts.
It is recommended that you leave your expensive jewelry and valuables at home while you are on your luxury cruise vacation.
