Spanish Speaking Countries

Lots of people appear to be still ignorant to the windows of opportunity that learning a language such as Spanish open. It is important to remember that Spanish is not just spoken in Spain. Lots of countries around the world, particularly in South American use Spanish as their first language. This should not be forgotten. If you take the steps to learn spanish, you’re not just learning how to speak with people in Spain, you’re learning to speak to a large percentage of the world.

Countries such as Bolivia, Cuba, Argentina and Mexico all speak Spanish. This alone makes Spanish one of the most popular languages to learn. That, when coupled with the amount of places Spanish language courses are available and the fact that Spanish is considered relatively easy to learn makes it extremely popular.

By learning a language such as Spanish, you know you can go to the countries mentioned above and feel competent when dealing with the locals. Many tourists have avoided such countries for fear of interaction, by learning the language, that fear is put to one side.

Of course, learning a new language is also lots of fun and even if you don’t plan to travel to a Spanish speaking country, it is still a good skill to have.
